Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 16:24, “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me." That is the same invitation Jesus gives each of us today. Making the decision to follow Jesus is the single most important decision you will ever make. The Apostle Paul writes in the book of Romans, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23). He writes in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Jesus came to provide the perfect sin sacrifice for all of us. Through the death of Jesus, we see God's great love. "But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! " (Romans 5:8)

Through His resurrection, Jesus gives all who believe eternal life. How do we accept this gift? According to Romans 10:9, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." God doesn't want anyone to perish, but desires all to come to repentence. (2 Peter 3:9) That is why He sent His one and only Son,  Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

The decision is ours, though. We have a choice. We can follow Jesus or not. That means we can choose to go to Heaven or Hell. We encourage you to choose Jesus today. Decide that you will follow Jesus. Start by calling out to Him. Below is a suggested prayer:
